A welcome letter from our Commodore, Jon VanderMolen.

As commodore I want to welcome you to the Gull Lake Yacht Club web page.  We have been an active sailing club since 1932.  In our rich history we have seen many classes grace our waters from R Boats and 22 Square Meters to Stars 210s 110s, Lightnings, 505s, Snipes, Scots and Lasers to name just a few.
Today we have over 60 active members racing in 7 different classes.  We offer racing on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons for the Stars 210s, Flying Scots and Cruising Class through October.  The adult and junior sailing programs race on Thursday nights in the ever exciting Flying Scots, Lasers, 420s and Optis June through August.  Gull Lake has proven for 80 years that it is one of the best sailing venues in the world.  From Olympians and America's Cup veterans to the weekend warriors, the experience and comments are always the same, 'Gull Lake is the best ever.'

The sailing lifestyle is active and fun.  it is a lifestyle we invite everyone to try.  The power of the wind coupled with the camaraderie and competition provides an experience second to none.  For questions about our club and/or our fleets, please call the Gull Lake Country Club Office at 269-629-9714.

Commodore,
Jon VanderMolen
